Job Title: Solution Consultant / Functional Lead – Salesforce CLM
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Consultant / Functional Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce CLM, Experience Cloud, and third-party integrations such as Conga and DocuSign (or DocuSign CLM). The consultant will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions for Costco.

This role serves as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex legal and contracting requirements into effective Salesforce-based solutions while ensuring best practices, compliance, and successful project delivery.

Experience Required

  • 8+ years of overall experience in Salesforce functional consulting
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CLM implementations

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into functional Salesforce solutions, with a focus on CLM and Experience Cloud
  • Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to define requirements, solution scope, and functional design
  • Design and configure Salesforce solutions including:
    • CLM modules
    • Experience Cloud portals
    • Third-party integrations
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Conga, DocuSign, and DocuSign CLM for document generation, e-signatures, and contract lifecycle management
  • Translate complex legal and contracting requirements into scalable technical designs leveraging:
    • Clause libraries and templates
    • Redlining and negotiation workflows
    • Version control and e-signature capabilities
  • Configure and customize CLM platforms (DocuSign CLM, Conga CLM), including:
    • Data models
    • Workflows and approval processes
    • Version-controlled document generation
  • Design and implement robust redlining and negotiation processes:
    • Word-based or online collaboration
    • Tracked changes and clause swaps
    • Conditional fallback language
    • Counterparty negotiation portals
  • Implement and manage granular security:
    • Object and field-level security
    • Sharing rules and Shield encryption
    • Full audit trails for contract edits and negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices
  • Support testing activities including test case creation, UAT, and deployment planning
  • Assist with change management, user training, and adoption initiatives
  • Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and performance standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong functional expertise in Salesforce CLM and Experience Cloud
  • Proven experience with Conga, DocuSign, and Salesforce integrations
  • Deep understanding of business process mapping and functional solution design
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, Process Builder, and Lightning components
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant) are a plus
