Product Development Manager - Contract - Greenwood Village, CO - $70.00 - $85.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Product Development Manager in Greenwood Village, CO.

Role Description

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. Develops project plans and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plans with the project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
This role will lead, drive, and accelerate product development at the center of fast-paced, highly visible efforts in a matrixed, interdependent environment where collaboration with key stakeholders is paramount. The role requires excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Product Development: Emphasis on wireless connectivity solutions for medium and large business customers.
Wireless Portfolio: Includes wireless alternatives to cable, wireless internet backup, and connectivity for temporary or mobile business setups (e.g., pop-up locations).
Mobility Expansion: Supporting mobile applications for business use cases such as device management, data security (e.g., remote wipe for lost/stolen phones), and integration with platforms like RingCentral.
Customer-Centric Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to define customer requirements, especially in emerging areas like mobility, and translate them into actionable development plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a peer on the Product Management side, as well as engineering, IT, and service delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution.
Vendor Engagement: Collaborate with partners such as Ericsson and Cradlepoint; explore expansion to additional vendors like Cisco Meraki for unified dashboard management.
Act as a liaison across highly technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring user experience is considered in technical implementations.
Participate in customer interviews and feedback sessions, including collaboration with the Spectrum Mobile team and customer council leaders.
Address operational challenges such as ticketing inefficiencies and service integration across enterprise and SMB segments.
Present project updates to executive leadership as needed, depending on project visibility and scope.

Skills & Requirements

Technical Skills & Tools
Strong background in product development and data products, particularly in cellular technologies.
Experience defining customer requirements and shepherding products through the development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; ability to adapt based on stakeholder preferences.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira, and Customer Journey Mapping tools.
Understanding of customer journey phases from both customer and seller perspectives (LBGUPS framework).
10+ years of overall experience, with 7+ years in cellular product development or related roles.
Experience in enterprise and SMB integration, particularly in telecom or wireless connectivity.
Background in product management or hybrid roles involving both development and strategic oversight.
