Our client is seeking a Technical Writer - II* in San Francisco, CA.
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation related to Protected Health Information (PHI), Good Practice (GXP) guidelines, and healthcare quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare regulations, excellent writing skills, and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and maintain documentation for PHI, GXP guidelines, and healthcare quality standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, regulatory experts, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to enhance the documentation.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets regulatory requirements.
Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Conduct audits and reviews to ensure documentation compliance with PHI and GXP guidelines.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in healthcare documentation.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
Ability to understand and explain complex regulatory concepts.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, PHI, and GXP guidelines.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Snagit) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
