Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Duration: 12+Months contract
Note: Independent visa candidates are eligible
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 8 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying Microservices-based applications.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Knowledge of security best practices for APIs and microservices.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and monitoring frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualifications:
- Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
- Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
