Role Overview

Primarily individual will lead the e-commerce to erp world for a digital e-commerce portal built on magento acquia stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce and web solutions.
  • Oversee daily operations for eCommerce platforms (Magento, Drupal, Acquia), ensuring site uptime, performance optimization, and feature delivery.
  • Provide architectural guidance for both front-end and back-end development across technologies such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, and C++.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, UX, QA, and Product to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Drive continuous integration and delivery pipelines using AWS and modern cloud-native practices.
  • Set and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and provide career growth opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in full-stack web development and engineering leadership.
  • Proven experience with Magento (Commerce or Open Source) and Drupal, with a strong understanding of Acquia Cloud Platform.
  • Strong programming skills in PHP, Java, JavaScript (React/Node preferred), and C++.
  • Prior work with CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket or similar.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, etc.) and web application deployment on cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing complex software projects from concept to production.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party system integrations (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, CRM).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with headless commerce or JAMstack architectures.
  • Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and performance best practices in web apps.
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
