Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to support the Locate and V+ team. This role is responsible for validating multiple technologies deployed within Vehicle Locator applications used by customers to manage, market, and trade new vehicle inventory, including connected vehicle functionalities.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with both manual and automated testing, ensuring the accuracy of technology placement and validating the data captured by these applications. This position requires close collaboration with development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute detailed manual test cases based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Selenium automation scripts for cross-browser and mobile testing.
  • Perform testing at both UI and data layers using appropriate testing tools.
  • Identify, log, and track defects in Jira when applications do not meet specifications.
  • Participate in daily Agile stand-ups and other project-related ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with development teams to validate defects and assist with defect reproduction.
  • Create and maintain test cases in TestRail Test Management tool.
  • Update task status and progress in Jira to communicate effectively with onshore test leads.
  • Identify, create, and update both manual and automated test suites to support ongoing releases.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Selenium.
  • 2+ years of experience with Databricks and/or Azure Data Factory.
  • 1+ year of experience with Cucumber (BDD).
  • 1+ year of experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with the ability to write programs from scratch.
  • 1+ year of experience with Jenkins (CI/CD).
  • 1+ year of experience delivering automation solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with Eclipse or similar IDEs.
  • Hands-on experience using Git for version control.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with strong initiative, attention to detail, and productivity.
