Data Product Manager - Contract or CTP - Glendale, CA - $85.00 -$95.00/hr.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Data Product Manager in Glendale, CA.
Role Description
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for data products, from discovery and requirements to roadmap definition, prioritization, and delivery
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
Collaborate with data engineers to guide the ingestion, transformation, and modeling of financial and operational datasets (from small to massive scale)
Lead the design and implementation of reporting, dashboards, data products and finance-focused analytics products in tools like Tableau and Power BI
Conduct stakeholder demos, roadmap reviews, and backlog grooming in alignment with agile ceremonies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both technical teams and stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment and value delivery
Skills & Requirements
7+ years of experience in data product management or business intelligence product ownership
Proven success leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives in a matrixed organization
Strong understanding of data engineering and analytics workflows, including data ingestion, modeling, and visualization
Advanced SQL skills; ability to independently query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
Experience with BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with scripting or statistical tools (e.g., Python, R)
Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt)
Strong communicator comfortable working with executive and technical stakeholders alike
Comfortable writing user stories, creating test plans, and validating datasets
Experience working in Agile environments with Jira or similar tools
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Background in Studio finance or enterprise finance domains
Prior experience managing data products in the media, entertainment, or technology sectors
