FS - Data Analytics Engineer - Contract- New York, NY - $51.15-$51.15/hr.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a FS - Data Analytics Engineer in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Data Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting Morgan Stanley.
This hybrid role blends the technical depth of data engineering with the strategic insight of business analytics responsible for understanding the business functions & developing scalable data solutions, analytics and delivering actionable insights to business.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs, and data requirements.
Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting.
Translate complex datasets into clear, business-oriented insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with data scientists, product managers, and business teams to support strategic initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL & Analytics tools.
Proven experience in financial services and wealth management domains, with expertise in stock plans, financial data, Crypto and related business processes.
Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture, and governance principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with Analytics tools such as Dataiku etc.
Prior experience working with Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management team.
