Job Description: SAP HR / Payroll Consultant Architect
Experience: 8+ Years (preferred)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP HR / Payroll Consultant / Architect for a blended functional and technical role. The ideal candidate will provide solution architecture leadership, support SAP Human Resources and Payroll processes, and work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP HR/Payroll solutions. This role requires deep hands-on expertise along with the ability to lead and guide enterprise-wide SAP HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SAP HR/Payroll solution architecture and design leadership aligned with business requirements.
- Support and enhance SAP HCM / Payroll processes, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business users, HR teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Lead functional design for core SAP HR modules such as PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management, and related integrations.
- Oversee and guide technical development activities, including enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP HR/Payroll and Finance (FI), third-party payroll providers, and external systems.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP project delivery, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and support teams.
- Manage production support, issue resolution, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain solution architecture documents, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, data security, and SAP best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of SAP HR / Payroll experience, including multiple full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP HCM Payroll, with functional knowledge of PA, OM, Time Management, and integrations.
- Experience in SAP HR/Payroll architecture and solution design.
- Working knowledge of SAP HR technical components such as schemas, PCRs, BAdIs, user exits, and interfaces.
- Experience integrating SAP HR with FI/CO, third-party payroll vendors, and external HR systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and IT teams.
- Proven leadership experience in guiding teams and delivering complex SAP HR initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM, SuccessFactors, or Employee Central Payroll is a plus.
