Title: TIBCO EMS Build Administrator
Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Role Overview
- Responsible for end-to-end setup, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of TIBCO EMS infrastructure across environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD, COB)
- Ensures high availability, fault tolerance, and secure messaging operations in alignment with enterprise engineering standards
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Deployment
- Install and upgrade TIBCO EMS, BW Administrator, Hawk, and related components
- Configure clustering and high availability (HA) environments
- Design and implement build and deployment processes using AppManage, domain utility, and CAS automation
- Ensure clean VTM and BCM runs prior to production turnover
- Configuration & Administration
- Create and manage EMS instances, queues, topics, bridges, routes, zones, users, and groups
- Configure SSL certificates, ACLs, and firewall rules for secure messaging
- Administer domains using TIBCO Administrator GUI and CLI tools
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Set up and manage TIBCO Hawk rule bases for monitoring EMS queues, BW engines, and log files
- Use tools like ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, and SecureCRT for performance monitoring and diagnostics
- Troubleshoot EMS access issues, SSL errors, certificate expiry, and message delivery failures
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain deployment guides, runbooks, and risk analysis documentation
- Ensure compliance with change management and incident resolution SLAs
- Participate in COB drills, disaster recovery testing, and audit readiness
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams
- Provide L2/L3 support and root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
- Participate in weekend change activities, go-lives, and volume testing
- Conduct training sessions for new team members

- Linux/Unix (RHEL), Shell scripting, SecureCRT/FX
- Monitoring: ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana
- Deployment: AppManage, CAS, Jenkins, GitHub
- Ticketing: ServiceNow, RBA
