NOC Engineer - Contract - Fort Mill, SC - $ 47.50 - $ 47.50/hr.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a NOC Engineer in Fort Mill, SC.
Role Description
1. Monitoring & Performance Management
Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Utilize tools like ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AlertSite, and DPA for proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, anomalies, and recommend improvements.
2. System Maintenance & Optimization
Perform routine system checks, maintenance tasks, and updates to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with datacenter teams for physical troubleshooting of devices.
3. Incident Management & Documentation
Document and track incidents, resolutions, system changes, and maintain workflow/playbooks.
Ensure compliance with security policies and participate in incident response.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support for monitoring and SLA adherence
4. Technical Support & Communication
Provide technical support to end-users and engage effectively with stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Collaboration & Vendor Coordination
Work with vendors, service providers, and global teams to optimize infrastructure.
Maintain positive team relationships, including remote collaboration.
6. IT Knowledge & Standards
Possess good knowledge of IT infrastructure, event management, and ITIL standards.
Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
. Familiarity with firewall and security protocols.
. Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent is a plus.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
