Systems Engineer Role - Contract - Westwood, MA - $40.00 - $43.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer Role in Westwood, MA

Role Description

As a you will perform a complex range of technical work activities to meet business and customer requirements while also be contributing to the design and implementation of these solutions. They should be able to coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company process to meet business and customer requirements. The ability to provide specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure consistent approach. An ideal candidate will be required to have SME (subject matter expert) level knowledge of desktop Operating System Deployment processes, Image Development, configuration and use of MDT, SCCM OSD, USMT, design and administration of Microsoft SCCM (all versions) in an enterprise, New features of SCCM ( Like CMG, Store for Business, cloud dp, connected cache )and SCCM based reporting. Excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone, while having the ability to assess and prioritize tasks without close supervision is essential.

Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
Able to communicate on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations.
Evaluate escalations and resolve appropriately to ensure customer demands are met.
Manage and deliver root cause assessments for complex technical issues
Define workarounds for known errors and spear head improvements
Partner with product management and development teams to bolster the end user experience
User-focused, analytical, and compelled to solve problem
Deliver automated solutions to large enterprise environment
Offering solutions and workarounds to incidents/problems
Document writing / process creation
Working to SLAs and deadlines
Review of services and application delivery
Prioritizing and managing several tasks at a single time
Establishing a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike
Keep up to date with advancements in technology
Work with a variety of customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements
Acts as a role model for colleagues providing guidance around technical and behavioral competencies to ensure sharing of internal best practice.

Skills & Requirements

Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree preferred
The Candidate should have experience in the following:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, including clustering, Linux and VMWare
Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms
Active Directory experience: ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domains, Forrest, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP/ADSI, Kerberos and Schemas
Understands the interdependency between Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
PKI and Certificate Management
Quest Tools (Active Roles, Change Auditor, Recovery Manager)
Anti-virus technologies (McAfee)
Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013
Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (including Enterprise Voice)
Scripting (PowerShell)
Desirable
Windows Server 2016

Uses broad range of information systems, technology functions and applications in line with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role.
Ideally certified in appropriate technologies to support business strategy.
Able to meet the physical requirements of the usual and customary methods of performing the job functions, including: a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; lifting of up to 50 pounds.
