Summary

M365 Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced M365 Lead Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 solutions across the enterprise. This role will lead Tier II/III support, drive automation using native M365 tools such as Power Platform and Copilot, and ensure a secure, compliant environment through collaboration with Security, Privacy, and Identity teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support all core M365 services SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform
Lead cross-functional technical teams to resolve complex M365 incidents and issues
Design and implement security, compliance, and governance frameworks
Automate operational tasks and workflows using PowerShell and related tools
Provide best practice guidance and technical mentorship to team members
Monitor system performance, manage escalations, and maintain detailed documentation
Define and maintain governance models and technical standards for M365

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in M365 administration or engineering within enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Azure AD
Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration
Microsoft certifications (MS-101, MS-500, or Enterprise Administrator Expert) preferred
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
