Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Experience in customer facing IT roles with a bachelors degree or commensurate experience, 5+ years of experience performing client facing assessments, designs and advanced Day 2 Red Hat configuration of cloud platforms, software-defined storage/networks, container platforms, disaster recovery, monitoring, orchestration, microservices, and virtualization
Deployment and integration experience across one (1) Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) or one Hosting Provider (e.g., Rackspace)
Experience with at least one (1) additional hypervisor platform (VMware or Azure Stack HCI/Hyper-V)
Advanced knowledge of performing architecture reviews of replatforming from one (1) Hypervisor platform to a Red Hat Platform and/or repatriating from one (1) Hyperscaler to an on-premises Red Hat Platform
Extensive working knowledge across five (5) of the following cloud architecture layers; Business Management, Self-Service Portal, Orchestration, Container, Integration with Hyper-scalers, Hyperconverged platforms, and Networking (e.g., Micro-segmentation, Containerized Networking, Federation, IDS/IPs, Network Sandboxing, and Global Advanced Load Balancing)
Deep Experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS/AKS /GKE
Experience in creating technical elements of project plan estimation, Modernization risk, dependencies and (MVP)
Experience mapping client platform and application deployment requirements into On-Prem / Cloud platform specific services and configuration
Lead teams within delivery multi-vendor environments in multiple countries
Strong Experience in Designing, Developing, and owning the end-to-end technical solution of the overall Container Platform development,
Experience in estimate Implementation, migration & modernization efforts
Experience in OpenShift implementation in On-Prem, Public Cloud and Private Cloud
Experience in direct interactions with Clients to solve their complex business problems
Experience in right sizing the platform based on the requirements
Experience as a technical leader and build technical assets that will be using in building the solution
Ability to coordinate with partners, project stakeholders to derive at the solution
Acts as a Trusted advisor for the client by listening to their pain points and considering the industry the client sits in.
Promotes innovation across the solution and delivery phases by leading the Design thinking workshops and leveraging Agile methodologies.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Kubernetes and / or Red Hat OpenShift Certifications
Possess confident analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented, providing suggestions and solutions in areas of software development, use and maintenance.
Extensive experience supporting pre-sales, post-sales and presenting in client orals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Be the onshore Technical Lead for a large energy giant, work location being Bartlesville Oklahoma client expects the lead to be face-to-face with the clients team atleast 3 times a week.
