RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an IT Site Support Technician II to join their Corporate Headquarters team. This role provides tier 2/3 desk-side support and resolves technical issues across the organization. The IT Site Support Tech will handle escalated service desk requests via phone, email, and in person, troubleshoot hardware/software problems, and implement solutions to ensure smooth IT operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Support and maintain Windows and Apple desktop configurations
* Research and recommend enterprise hardware/software standards
* Troubleshoot network, client/server, desktop, and peripheral issues
* Collaborate with teams to deliver custom IT solutions
* Track inventory per IT Asset Lifecycle procedures
* Mentor support staff and assist during high workload periods
* Respond to second/third-level support requests professionally
* Provide proactive solutions to technical issues
* Support office moves, adds, and changes
* Stay current on tools for software distribution and maintenance
* Create technical documentation
* Participate in 24/7 support and on-call rotation
* Work hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
REQUIREMENTS:
* Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+, Apple ACMT or ACSP
* Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or MCITP
* 3-4 years of experience in technical support
* Functional knowledge of Active Directory and related services
* Experience with Office 365 administration
* Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
* Experience supporting Apple devices in a Windows AD environment
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
* ITIL certification
* Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit or System Center Configuration Manager
* Familiarity with project management methodologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
