Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the service owner for systems infrastructure, handling escalated tickets and complex issues
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory (maintenance, reliability, access, policies)
  • Support and manage Linux systems
  • Maintain and support Azure cloud infrastructure (primary cloud platform), with some AWS exposure (AWS is a nice-to-have)
  • Support data center operations, including virtualization (VMware transitioning to Nutanix, approximately 250 VMs)
  • Provide limited but critical network support, including firewalls, switches, and SD-WAN
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of IT on infrastructure planning and execution
  • Participate in infrastructure improvements, stability initiatives, and modernization efforts.

Job Description:

  • Senior Systems Administrator or Team Lead background
  • Strong Active Directory and Linux experience
  • Hands-on Azure cloud experience
  • Comfortable acting as an escalation point and technical service owner
  • Data center-focused mindset (not a pure network engineer)

Must Have

Active Directory strong hands-on administration and maintenance

Linux production support and administration experience

Azure hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure

Virtualization VMware (Nutanix, nice to have)

Networking experience, including firewalls, switches, and SD-WAN (approximately 25% of the role)
