Platform Solutions Architect - CTP - Atlanta, GA - $60.00 - $70.00 /hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Platform Solutions Architect in Atlanta, GA.

Role Description

The Platform Solution Architect evaluates, analyzes, and modifies moderately complex application programs. He / she understands client requirements and how they translate to new application features. The solution architect will work across all aspects of the software development lifecycle to ensure that stakeholder requirements are fulfilled in a scalable and consistent manner that allows for robust platform growth. The solution architect will aid in establishing best practices for all aspects of the SDLC to achieve this goal.
The Power Platform solution architect should have functional and technical knowledge of:
Microsoft Power Platform
Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps
Related Microsoft cloud solutions
Other third-party technologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on platform architectural and business needs
Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans
Interact with stakeholders, product management, and developers during product demos/evaluations
Enhance efficiency of development, testing and release process; develop tools and frameworks to ensure robust and high-quality delivery of Power Platform/Dynamics 365 Implementations
Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt
Work with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and technical leads to help determine timelines, project tasks and requirements gathering process
Participate in the full development lifecycle process
Coordination and support of development tasks among development teams.
Relay of the solution design to the development team and provide technical guidance during development of the solution to the development team.
Upskilling of the existing technical leads in new technologies and enhancements of Power Platform/Dynamics 365
Mentorship of existing technical resources in architecture and governance of Power Platform/Dynamics 365

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Demonstrate excellence with consulting skills and present complex development topics to both business executive and technical personnel
Proven experience as a Senior Application Developer or equivalent
Strong architecture understanding of developing solutions in Power Apps, Power Automate
Experience developing - Canvas apps, Model Driven apps and Power Apps Pages
Experience developing - Custom connectors against 3rd party or in-house APIs
Experience installing, configuration, and using Center of Starter (CoE) starter tool kit
Exposure to Azure DevOps and Azure platform topologies
Develop conceptual (PoC) to production solutions/apps
Experience integrating/extending Dynamics 365 apps is a plus
Great attention to detail and time-management skills
Education, Training and Experience:
College or university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
3 - 5 years of applicable experience
Strong communication skills including the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to understand user needs
Solid understanding of how to create scalable and maintainable applications
Proven track record of creating easy-to-use and functional application with the users' best interests in mind
