Your new role
As a Desktop Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Reporting directly to the IT Support Manager, you'll support PCs, phones, AV equipment, IT peripherals, and office infrastructure. You'll also play a key role in events, conferences, and special projects, ensuring seamless technical operations both on-site and off-site.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for PCs, phones, IT peripherals, and office infrastructure
Document work thoroughly using the IT incident ticketing system
Respond to escalated incidents from IT Technicians or the Service Desk
Support events, conferences, and meetings with AV and IT setup
Assist with office administration and IT-related projects
Collaborate with internal IT teams on initiatives
Respond to outages involving power, HVAC, and network systems
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years in a corporate IT support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office Suite (Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Cisco VoIP systems and voicemail
- Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and mobile OS (Apple & Android)
- Ability to configure and support printers and multifunction devices
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tool
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- General knowledge of server/network room operations
- AV equipment support experience
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Willingness to travel and work independently across locations
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- On-site availability required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- IT certifications such as ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, or equivalent experience
