Technical Product Owner Sabre

Your new role
  • Support the technical development and administration of Sabre GDS interfaces, including Guest Air Systems, Crew, Corporate, and Back Office Accounting.
  • Drive product strategy, own the roadmap, gather requirements, design new features, and support deployment.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into developer-level user stories using Agile methodology.
  • Perform functional testing, validation, and user documentation.
  • Provide first-tier support for GDS administration, including user management, installations, and compliance.
  • Serve as a backup to the Manager of GDS Solutions Architecture and assist with Sabre administration for 400+ users across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with travel operations and development teams to implement and test new Sabre technologies and APIs.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 15+ years of Sabre GDS experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and technical skills.
  • Deep understanding of Sabre products and technical components (e.g., PNR, Air Shopping, Air Pricing, NDC, BFM, Ticketing, Schedule Changes, CSL, SR360, Sabre Web Service APIs).
  • Experience in the travel industry, including leisure, corporate, and online travel practices.
  • Hands-on expertise in the travel reservation process.
  • Experience as a Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst.
  • Ability to create and maintain functional and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
