Your new role
- Support the technical development and administration of Sabre GDS interfaces, including Guest Air Systems, Crew, Corporate, and Back Office Accounting.
- Drive product strategy, own the roadmap, gather requirements, design new features, and support deployment.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into developer-level user stories using Agile methodology.
- Perform functional testing, validation, and user documentation.
- Provide first-tier support for GDS administration, including user management, installations, and compliance.
- Serve as a backup to the Manager of GDS Solutions Architecture and assist with Sabre administration for 400+ users across multiple business units.
- Collaborate with travel operations and development teams to implement and test new Sabre technologies and APIs.
What you'll need to succeed
- 15+ years of Sabre GDS experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and technical skills.
- Deep understanding of Sabre products and technical components (e.g., PNR, Air Shopping, Air Pricing, NDC, BFM, Ticketing, Schedule Changes, CSL, SR360, Sabre Web Service APIs).
- Experience in the travel industry, including leisure, corporate, and online travel practices.
- Hands-on expertise in the travel reservation process.
- Experience as a Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst.
- Ability to create and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
