NetSuite Project Manager
OVERVIEW:
Our NetSuite Project Managers (PM) will leverage their experience to assist clients and project teams in the execution of implementing and enhancing their NetSuite solutions. Project Managers will be taking the leading role in overseeing the project plan and timeline to help our
clients focus on implementing, optimizing, and supporting their NetSuite ERP (Enterprise Resourcing Planning) environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize project management skills and NetSuite implementation knowledge to ensure successful client projects.
Developing the detailed project plan using the proposal as the starting point and seeking input from the Solution Architect and other stakeholders.
Agree on project complexity and project team structure with leadership so that there is alignment between our project staffing and the relative complexity of the project.
Gather status updates from resources on assigned projects at regular intervals, reviewing assignments, timeline for deliverables, and budget.
Continue to update the project plan during the project and communicate any changes to timeline, resource levels, etc. to key stakeholders (clients, solution architect, etc.) This is accomplished through the weekly distribution of the Cirrus Project Update (CPU) per project sent to stakeholders and stored in project repository.
Setting timelines, and clearly communicating the roles and responsibilities of team members, including deliverable deadlines, deliverable quality expectations, etc.
Identify risks, document risks identified by client and other team members, develop mitigation strategies for identified risks, report on progress of risk remediation efforts, etc.
Manage and ensure compliance with all QC procedures during the project, e.g. client sign-off requirements between project phases. Ensure all QC procedures are followed relating to the complexity of the project and methodology requirements.
Propose changes to the methodology where there are lessons learned from executed projects.
Mobilize and guide team members (client) including project mobilization, execution of kick-off meetings, resource management during the project and go live planning and execution and generally serving as an escalation point when needed. The PM is the person who defines project roles and activities for all project team members. The PM, with input from the Solution Architect, also defines the critical path, project MVP, and go/no-go criteria.
Define the level of requirements definition and documentation required based upon project complexity and the required approach based upon Cirrus methodology. Manage and confirm compliance with the requirements management approach.
Perform project close out activities:
Ensure the completion of the project citation based upon the project objectives and results.
Conduct lessons learned/acter action meeting with project team members.
Confirm compliance with firm information management policies related to client information and where, and if, it is stored in our environment.
Archive all client deliverables, decisions and key client approvals and signoffs.
Manage resource allocations and the onboarding and offboarding of team members.
Determine project status (RAG) and escalate internally for projects that are at risk.
Manage communications plans and execution of client communications for all projects.
Develop and deliver the project status report weekly to client executives. Solution Architect will support delivery but not lead delivery.
Manage client expectations as related to timeline, scope, and change management.
This includes active communications directly with client stakeholders. The PM should understand what, where, when and why of all project activities so that the PM can represent them with the client as needed independently of the solution architect.
Ensure project team members, including the PM, have a purpose for participating in meetings with clients. Define meeting objectives, meeting agenda, speaking roles, etc. beforehand.
Perform project close out activities including but not limited to: hand-off to support, finalization of project citation, final EVA and other project economic analyses.
