Job Description Summary
The Senior Technical Execution Leader owns the process improvement initiatives in the Tech Mat Test team for the Advanced Ducted Program. The Senior Techical Execution Leader owns and maintains the program test plan and works with the test rig owners, design disciplines and Systems module owners to identify gaps and testing options to close gaps and ensures the team is on track to meet the program goals. The Lean Process Execution Leader plays a key role in the Systems organization working closely with the Product Vision and Tech Mat Systems teams to support the Technology Readiness Levels, Risk Levels, and Manufacturing Readiness Levels. This role also supports the alignment of the overall test plan, test schedules and budget plans, collaborating closely with the test owners and Ops leader.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
At least 5 additional years of experience in an aerospace or mechanical engineering position
