Business Intelligence Lead

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Overview:
An established industry leader is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to drive the vision, architecture, and delivery of enterprise BI platforms across AWS, SQL Server, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. This role will lead the migration to the Azure/Fabric data stack while managing a small team of BI developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and enhance BI environments in AWS (S3, Redshift, Lambda) and SQL Server (SSAS, SSIS, BIML, Power BI).
Lead the migration of SQL Server BI solutions to Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, OneLake, and Microsoft Fabric.
Design and optimize data pipelines, models, and reports following best practices.
Manage BI project delivery, tracking milestones and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Mentor BI developers and establish standards for governance, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on BI development across AWS and SQL Server stacks.
Expert in Power BI and DAX.
Experience with Azure & Microsoft Fabric services (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake).
Proven success migrating BI platforms to Azure/Fabric.
Microsoft certification in Azure or Fabric Data Engineering preferred.

Technical leadership, analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, project delivery, and adaptability to emerging technologies.
