Job Title: WhatsApp & SMS Strategist/Architect

Job Description:-
Core Expertise
- Ability to collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Technical Architect to ensure seamless integration of omnichannel strategy and technical execution, acting as a trusted partner throughout planning, implementation, and optimization phases.
- Act as a patient, knowledgeable guide for client teams around the world virtually providing hands-on onboarding, training, and implementation support to ensure successful adoption and execution of messaging solutions.
- Demonstrated mastery of WhatsApp and SMS as communication channels across multiple countries, including cross-border messaging scenarios.
- Experience working for a global digital agency or large brand where WhatsApp and SMS are integral to a broader omnichannel marketing strategy.
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, journey orchestration, and channel optimization for diverse global audiences.
- Proven ability to envision and architect scalable global campaigns, with attention to regional compliance, localization of content, and time zone coordination for optimal delivery and engagement.
Technical & Platform Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of WhatsApp and SMS systems and platforms, including setup options, number provisioning, warming strategies, compliance, and optimization across global markets each with unique challenges.
- Experience integrating audience segmentation to enable trigger-based, behavior-led messaging to customers to boost engagement.
- Nice to have but not required: Experience integrating WhatsApp and/or SMS into Salesforce Marketing Cloud for multichannel journey orchestration.
Strategic & Analytical Skills
- Ability to translate business goals into scalable marketing strategies and technical solutions for global client audiences who require WhatsApp and/or SMS.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret WhatsApp and SMS performance metrics, translating into actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders, present strategic plans, and document technical workflows alongside Digital Marketing Technical Architect and Business Analysts.
- Experience training global colleagues, adapting strategies to local markets, languages, and cultural nuances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a digital agency or large brand environment, supporting multichannel strategy and execution at scale ideally with Fortune 500 clients or large enterprise organizations across diverse teams and global markets.
- Background in manufacturing or automotive industries is a plus but not required.
Educational Qualifications:
- Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
- Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
