Job Description:

The Power Platform / SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform tools.
This role requires expertise in application migration, workflow automation, and user experience optimization while ensuring compliance with client security and IT standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop scalable SharePoint Online solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, or other data sources.
Design intuitive user interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.
Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) within Power Platform environment pipelines.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and security protocols.
Analyze existing SharePoint 2016 InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 workflows, JavaScript code, and Nintex forms/workflows.
Produce detailed architectural and as-built documentation.
Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and internal teams.

Mandatory Training Courses:

Completion of all required training, including Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Security Awareness Training.
Optional additional training may be required.

Equipment Requirements:

Candidate must use their own equipment.

Must Have:

University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience; OR
2-year diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience; OR
1-year certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 7 years of relevant experience; OR
A currently active professional certification/accreditation and 8 years of relevant experience.
4 years experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing, or implementing Microsoft Power Platform products and services.
4 years experience completing application or technology migrations (e.g., on-premise to cloud, platform moves).
2 years experience preparing and documenting materials for user acceptance testing (UAT).
4 years experience troubleshooting forms and workflows.
4 years experience with complex SharePoint projects involving managed metadata, workflows, forms, and UI customization.
2 years experience developing integrated system and technical design specifications for enterprise content management systems.

Nice to Have:

Active Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform App Maker Associate, Power Apps Developer Associate).
2 years experience upgrading Microsoft SharePoint environments (e.g., 2013 2016 Online).
2 years experience using and supporting ShareGate.
1 year of experience working with client IT/IM policies, standards, and guidelines.
2 years experience with SharePoint Central Administration.
