Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with test automation tools, strong design understanding, and a proven track record of working in advisory or consulting roles. This position requires close collaboration with end users, especially in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
Provide advisory support and guidance to teams on best practices in automation testing.
Collaborate with business users during UAT to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Analyze and improve existing testing processes and tools.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Contribute to test design, test planning, and execution.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as an Automated Test Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with any leading automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, Cypress, etc.).
Experience in an advisory or consulting role.
Solid understanding of test design principles and methodologies.
Proven experience with UAT processes and working directly with end users.
Oil & Gas industry experience is required.
Must be local to Houston, TX and available to work on a W2 basis.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and provide expert recommendations on testing strategy and tools.
