Position Summary:
We are seeking a Functional Project Manager with strong Business Analysis experience to lead the delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles while bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage functional and cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality targets are met.
Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions across business units.
Collaborate with technical, QA, and change management teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of project outcomes.
Develop and maintain project plans, risk logs, communication plans, and status reports.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation.
Drive UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validation processes with business users.
Ensure process improvements and standardization across functional domains.
Provide post-implementation support, including performance tracking and lessons learned documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
5 10 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis, preferably in IT, ERP, or digital transformation environments.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
Excellent understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and change management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master).
Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).
Experience working in ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday) or Service Management projects.
Exposure to data analytics or reporting tools.
Experience managing vendor or offshore development teams.
