There is currently one (1) opening for a Principal Information Technology Analyst (iHub / IT Service Desk) located at Headquarters (Los Angeles, CA).

The Principal Information Technology Analyst provides advanced technical support to the Innovation Hub (iHub) and, when needed, the IT Service Desk. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of end-user devices, audio/visual systems, media streaming tools, and hybrid meeting technologies.
They coordinate major meetings and events, support both internal and public-facing technology needs, and address complex technical issues requiring higher-level expertise. In addition, the analyst guides team members, reviews service patterns, and recommends practical improvements to strengthen system stability and user experience.
? Coordinates and provides advanced technical support for high?profile meetings, including Board, Committee, and executive sessions.
? Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots audio?visual systems, hybrid meeting platforms, and media tools; manages related service tickets and requests.
? Schedules and prepares AV resources for internal and external events, ensuring equipment and systems are fully tested and ready for use.
? Oversees post?meeting outputs such as transcripts, audio files, voting records, and participant reports.
? Tracks and maintains AV equipment and media systems, including inventory, lifecycle updates, and replacement planning.
? Supports transitions from legacy systems to new digital platforms and assists with system decommissioning.
? Monitors service queues across the Innovation Hub, WS1, and IT Service Desk, helping identify trends and areas for improvement.

Schedule: 9/80. Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off. Start times are no earlier than 6 am and end times are no later than 6 pm.
Hybrid: Metropolitan?s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of increasingly responsible experience, of which two years must have been at the Senior Programmer Analyst or Senior Systems Analyst level.
Relevant/Related Experience is defined as: a combination of experience supporting AV (audio-visual) and conferencing technologies, including hybrid meetings, events, web conferencing, media streaming, and AV troubleshooting.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience supporting Board Members, executives, and Board support staff, including coordinating technology needs and providing timely, professional assistance; Experience providing IT support, including incident management, troubleshooting, escalation, and customer service; Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, basic networking, mobile devices, ServiceNow, and common IT tools.
