Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js & iOS Developer with a strong backend foundation and exposure iOS development experience. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable server-side applications while contributing meaningfully to native iOS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Node.js backend services and APIs
Architect and build high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile consumption
Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift/Objective-C
Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end product features
Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across backend and mobile layers
Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud platforms into existing systems
Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices
Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills & Experience

Node.js (Primary — Mandatory)

7+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Node.js development
Deep expertise in Express.js / NestJS frameworks
Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices
Experience with databases — both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure

iOS Development (Secondary — Required)

Solid experience in native iOS development using Swift
Familiarity with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple developer ecosystem
Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs into iOS applications
Understanding of iOS app architecture patterns — MVC, MVVM, or VIPER
Knowledge of App Store submission process and guidelines

Good to Have

Experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile frameworks
Knowledge of containerization tools — Docker, Kubernetes
Exposure to serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Functions)
Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or enterprise technology domains
