Staffmark is hiring experienced Heating & Cooling Technicians for a direct hire opportunity. If you have HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical service experience and enjoy troubleshooting commercial equipment, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with room for growth.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or industrial maintenance education is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC, heating and cooling, refrigeration, or mechanical service experience preferred
- Commercial equipment service experience a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license required
Job Duties
- Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Replace defective parts and components
- Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Test equipment to ensure proper operation
- Travel to customer locations for service work
- Communicate repair recommendations and equipment concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures
Physical Capabilities
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment
- Work independently in field and service environments
- Stand, bend, reach, and perform physical service work
