Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their team. As aCasualty Underwriter, you will evaluate, select, and manage liability risks across a range of industry sectors. Success in the role calls for strong analytical skills, market insight, and a consistent focus on underwriting profitability and client service.

What you''ll do:

Evaluate, select, and price casualty submissions within your authority and underwriting guidelines.
Manage a book of liability risks across multiple industry sectors, monitoring performance and recommending pricing or coverage actions.
Negotiate terms and conditions with wholesale brokers, balancing risk selection with commercial goals.
Build and maintain productive broker relationships that drive profitable new and renewal business.
Ensure all underwritten business complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What you''ll bring:

Demonstrated casualty underwriting experience, general liability experience
Strong analytical and risk-selection skills, with sound pricing judgment.
Effective negotiation and broker-relationship management.
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience; insurance designations such as CPCU or ARM are a plus.

Salary/Rate: $100,000 – $130,000 (depends on experience level) + benefits.
