MUST HAVE:
Previous manufacturing/ production environment experience — warehouse-only experience does not qualify
High-reach forklift experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Experience receiving, scanning, putting away, and moving materials to production/WIP locations
Experience using a handheld/RF scanning device
Ability to follow pick lists and accurately verify labels against products
Ability to safely handle materials and operate equipment in a manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, and kneeling
Job Description:
The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by safely moving raw materials from receiving to storage and production areas. The role involves high-reach forklift operation, handheld scanning, inventory movement, material staging, and supporting production while following strict safety, quality, and SOP requirements.
Responsibilities:
Receive and verify raw materials against labels and documentation.
Use handheld scanners to move materials from receiving to designated put-away locations.
Follow pick lists and retrieve materials from rack locations.
Scan and move materials to WIP locations and production areas.
Safely operate high-reach forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Maintain accurate material counts and production records.
Follow SOPs, PPE, LOTO, Hazard Communication, and other safety requirements.
Keep production areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Support production activities and cross-training as required.
