An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Principal Semiconductor Fab In-Process RF Test Engineer to join our semiconductor foundry engineering team within the RF Microelectronics/Module Development & Foundry Services Department. The successful candidate in this role would work with a group of skilled RF test engineers to test advanced microelectronic devices in accordance with various technology roadmaps in support of Raytheon s business pursuits. These road maps consist of both near term efforts on the cusp of transition-to-production, as well as longer term development efforts that maintain a pipeline of innovation. The ideal candidate will possess experience in production testing and III-V semiconductor processing, with a preference for expertise in GaAs, GaN, GaSb, or acoustic devices.

Presence on the foundry floor is essential for understanding technical and logistical issues. The role requires a large degree of multitasking with attention to detail while managing priorities depending on the nature of the problems and the commitments to customers and programs.

This role will be 100% on-site and based in Andover, MA.
\n
\n
What You Will Do:
\n
\n - Perform and supervise in-process RF measurements on GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) and GaN (Gallium Nitride) MMICs, transistors and test structures.
\n - Improve test procedures and work to improve test-related product yield issues.
\n - Consult on new equipment purchases and work to increase test speed, accuracy, and through-put.
\n - Drive install, qualification, and process matching of new test equipment in the foundry
\n Trouble-shoot test issues and mentor test engineers \n

Qualifications You Must Have:
\n
\n - Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field.
\n - Over ten (10) years of relevant experience in RF semiconductor testing. (An advanced STEM degree could count for up to 3 years of experience).
\n - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:
\n
\n - A Master s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field
\n - Experience working with GaAs, GaN, GaSb, and/or acoustic semiconductor processes
\n - Demonstrated experience in semiconductor process engineering, specifically in production in-process test
\n - Extensive experience in the development of test systems and associated software
\n - Knowledge of Statistical Process control and related SPC software
\n - Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques
\n - Strong analytical skills
\n - Customer focus and collaboration skills
\n - Previous experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency.
\n - Excellent written and oral communication skills
\n - Current DoD Secret level security clearance
\n

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
