Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and deploy Microservices-based applications following best practices.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS cloud services.
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills

Strong programming experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+).
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem.
Good understanding of Microservices Architecture.
Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API security.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
