Systems Analysts are responsible for evaluating and improving the institution's information systems to meet the needs of users and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective technological solutions.
Job Duty 1 -
Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for improving information systems within the institution.
Job Duty 2 -
Evaluate existing systems and processes, documenting findings and providing recommendations for enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Duty 3 -
Conduct testing and validation of new systems or updates to ensure they meet specified requirements and function as intended.
Job Duty 4 -
Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes, facilitating a smooth transition and promoting user adoption.
Job Duty 5 -
Develop and maintain documentation related to system specifications, processes, and user guides to ensure clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
Job Duty 6 -
Monitor system performance and user feedback, identify areas for improvement, and work with teams to implement necessary changes.
Job Duty 7 -
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the institution's needs.

Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement new systems or modifications, ensuring alignment with user requirements and institutional goals.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that technology initiatives are completed on time and within budget.

Educational Requirements
Associate's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Required Qualifications
Occasional travel between training locations required; sitting for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components; fifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
Required Experience
Two or more years of relevant experience.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS: Experience supporting, configuring, enhancing, and sustaining a large catalog of enterprise business applications in a complex organizational environment.
M365: Experience developing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Planner, Copilot, and more.
INTEGRATION: Experience integrating business applications using Microsoft Graph, APIs, SSO, data exchange, Power Platform connectors, Zapier, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
AUTOMATION: Experience using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Power Automate, and AI-assisted tools to streamline business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.
ANALYTICAL ANALYSIS: Experience using AI-assisted tools to gather requirements, track details, filter complex information, identify root causes, and translate stakeholder needs into process models, workflow automation, application enhancements, and business solutions.
VISUALIZATION: Strong visual communication skills with experience (often live) creating process maps, workflow diagrams, requirements models, and presentations that simplify complexity and support informed decision making.
OPERATIONAL PROJECTS: Experience leading small-to-medium projects, including planning, prioritization, testing, change management, stakeholder communication, risk management, implementation, documentation, status reporting, and project closeout.
SUPPORT: Experience troubleshooting application issues, coordinating with vendors and technical teams, supporting users in a fast-paced environment, and creating documentation and training materials that promote adoption, self-service, and long-term sustainability.
BEHAVIORAL DISCIPLINE: Comfortable with structured service delivery, project execution, change/release practices, including ITSM, ITIL, Agile, SDLC, DevOps, PMP, Lean, and cybersecurity.
