Position Overview
The Microsoft 365 Copilot Support & Operations Specialist will provide day-to-day operational support for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio within the State of Texas environment.
The role will focus on troubleshooting, end-user support, Microsoft 365 administration coordination, Copilot capability evaluation, documentation, training, governance, security, and supporting the successful adoption of Copilot technologies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Microsoft 365 Copilot, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.
- Support Microsoft 365 configuration and administration activities in coordination with platform administrators.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 Copilot-related issues and provide timely, effective technical support.
- Troubleshoot Copilot-related technical issues and coordinate complex issues with appropriate technical teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, FAQs, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and test new Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, releases, features, and Microsoft roadmap enhancements.
- Assess new Copilot functionality and provide recommendations regarding implementation, support readiness, adoption, and operational requirements.
- Support the testing and validation of new Copilot features before enterprise deployment.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365 administrators, security teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users to ensure smooth adoption of Copilot technologies.
- Assist with Copilot Studio capabilities and related operational support activities.
- Support understanding and implementation of Copilot licensing, governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with AI governance activities and promote Responsible AI practices.
- Help ensure Microsoft 365 Copilot usage aligns with organizational data protection, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Create and deliver technical training and user guidance for diverse audiences.
- Monitor user feedback and support trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced user adoption.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, support procedures, and knowledge resources.
- Participate in Microsoft 365 and Copilot-related projects, testing, implementation, and adoption initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant IT/technical experience.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities.
- Understanding of Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Knowledge of Copilot licensing, governance, and security concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and end-user technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and end-user support skills.
- Understanding of AI Governance and Responsible AI principles.
- Knowledge of data protection, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Experience creating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and operational procedures.
- Experience delivering technical training to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Experience with Copilot Studio.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS application support.
- Exposure to AI governance and Responsible AI frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance concepts.
- Experience evaluating and testing new SaaS/AI platform capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, enterprise SaaS support, troubleshooting, AI governance, security, compliance, technical documentation, and end-user training.
Strong communication, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
