Cost Analyst
Beaumont, TX | Onsite | 12+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for a Cost Analyst who knows every invoice tells a story... and sometimes that story needs a little fact-checking.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, spotting trends, and making sure project and operational costs are exactly where they should be. You''ll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Finance to keep costs on track, forecasts accurate, and financial data clean throughout the entire procure-to-pay process.

If you like solving financial puzzles and making spreadsheets earn their keep, you''ll probably enjoy this one.

What they''re really looking for:

• Strong experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced SAP S/4HANA experience, including transaction processing and reporting
• Experience with invoice processing, accruals, reconciliations, and cost tracking
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
• Ability to communicate financial information to both business and operational teams
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• LNG, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environments
• Capital project accounting or project controls
• Maintenance and turnaround cost management
• Power BI or other business intelligence reporting tools
• Supporting cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance

You''ll spend your time reviewing project costs, managing accruals, reconciling accounts, supporting budgets and forecasts, processing SAP transactions, and helping ensure financial data is accurate from start to finish.
