Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our Client is seeking a Quality Engineer with strong attention to detail and experience in regulated manufacturing environments. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and customer-required deliverables to ensure compliance with internal standards and external contractual requirements.
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to ensure designs and processes meet all applicable quality flow-downs and specifications.
Responsibilities:- Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure designs for fabrication comply with approved data and customer quality requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and evaluation protocols.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and customer-specific quality flow-down requirements.
- Review and improve processes and systems to maintain and enhance quality performance.
- Contribute to and deliver training materials; conduct training sessions for new hires and team members as needed.
- Perform part inspections using a variety of inspection tools and equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
- Analyze quality data and provide actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure supplier and vendor compliance with quality requirements and flow-downs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related manufacturing environment.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience developing and maintaining quality documentation and control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
