Job Summary

The Azure APIM Support Engineer provides expert-level support for Azure API Management (APIM) solutions. The engineer helps customers secure, publish, monitor, and optimize APIs while troubleshooting gateway, policy, authentication, ARM, and backend integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot Azure API Management services, including:
- API Gateway
- Self-hosted Gateway
- Developer Portal
- Consumption Tier
- Premium and Standard Tiers
Diagnose:
- API routing issues
- Backend connectivity failures
- Performance degradation
- Policy execution failures
- Authentication and authorization issues
Support API security implementations, including:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect
- JWT Validation
- Managed Identity
- Client Certificates
Assist customers with:
- API versioning
- Revisions
- Custom Domains
- TLS/SSL certificates
Review and troubleshoot APIM policies.
Investigate API latency and throughput issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve platform-related issues.
