CDW is seeking a
Quality Engineer to build our UI automation practice from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role. You'll be the first automation-focused QA on the team, responsible for designing and implementing a
Playwright automation framework for a React application and .NET backend.
Must-Have Experience ?
Playwright UI Automation (hands-on framework design and build experience)
?
TypeScript/JavaScript test automation development ?
Manual and automated testing experience (initially ~50% manual / 50% automation)
? Experience testing
React applications and
.NET APIs ? CI/CD integration experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
? 5+ years in Software QA/Test Automation
What You'll Do - Design and build a scalable Playwright framework from scratch
- Create automated UI, API, and end-to-end test coverage
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with developers to improve application testability
- Develop test data, authentication, and reporting strategies
- Perform manual testing while automation coverage is being established
- Own test stability, defect reporting, and quality best practices
Nice to Have - C# / Playwright for .NET
