The Data Venture Engineering team builds and manages a global platform focused on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. The Senior Director of Software Engineering leads efforts to enhance system reliability and scalability, leveraging advanced technologies to build maintainable products efficiently. What you'll do:- Lead end-to-end execution of engineering programs focused on AI/ML-enhanced solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Oversee architecture and design across backend, frontend, and mobile technologies, promoting standardization and reuse.
- Collaborate with Product and Program Management to align roadmaps, milestones, and delivery strategies.
- Drive software delivery excellence through CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native practices.
- Mentor senior engineering leaders and foster cross-team collaboration to cultivate a culture of ownership and continuous growth.
- Apply sound technical judgment to balance trade-offs and ensure quality deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Champion innovation by identifying improvement opportunities and integrating emerging technologies.
What you'll bring:- Extensive experience leading software engineering teams with a focus on AI/ML-enhanced solutions and cloud-native technologies.
- Proven expertise in directing system design, architecture, and operations to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Strong skills in project and program management, including milestone tracking and risk mitigation.
- Deep knowledge of agentic AI systems and generative artificial intelligence applications.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735: The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11656: The annual salary range for this position is $208,000.00 - $416,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 9 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
