Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Optical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in sensor testing, electro-optical testing, or hardware validation
• Hands-on experience with 2D image quality characterization: resolution, noise, color, distortion, and dynamic range
• Experience with 3D sensing technologies such as ToF, LiDAR, stereo vision, or structured light
• Experience with optical test setups, calibration targets, and laboratory instrumentation
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting and data analysis tools
• Experience developing and executing sensor test plans and analyzing test data
• Experience with test automation and hardware validation
• Strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with AWS/cloud environments and software testing preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform characterization and validation testing of 2D and 3D sensors
• Conduct image quality, depth accuracy, point cloud, and sensor performance testing
• Set up and maintain optical test benches, fixtures, and laboratory equipment
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports
• Develop and improve test methods, procedures, and automated test solutions
• Support sensor calibration, validation, and root-cause analysis
Preferred:
• 5+ years of sensor characterization or electro-optical testing
• Experience with Imatest or similar image quality tools
• Knowledge of MIPI CSI-2, USB3 Vision, or GigE Vision
• Experience with robotics, automation, computer vision, or LiDAR systems
