Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
2. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
4. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
5. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
6. Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
7. Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment and machines for optimal performance.
8. Maintain records of each machine's maintenance and repair work to track and predict potential future issues.
9. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, sharing knowledge and learning from others to continuously improve our processes and machinery.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician for a minimum of 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of CNC machine troubleshooting and repair is preferred.
3. A solid understanding of PLC's and how to troubleshoot.
4. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to sharing knowledge and learning from others.
