Job Title: Senior Associate, Electrical Engineering Job Code: 39625Job Location: Canoga Park, CAJob Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: In this role, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations. Electrical Engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on numerous aircraft platforms.
Essential Functions: - Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools
- Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost
- Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few, along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft
Qualifications: - To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Skills/Knowledge of/with CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software
- Understanding of basic aircraft systems
- Systems integration experience
- Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to travel to and from flight line and work in aircraft hangar environments (some positions will require the ability to board/exit aircraft)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, is $80,500 - $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
