We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Power Electronics Engineer to provide technical leadership in the development of advanced power conversion and embedded control systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys solving complex hardware challenges, mentoring technical teams, and driving sophisticated electronic products from initial architecture through production release.
As a senior member of the engineering organization, you will serve as a key contributor to next-generation power electronics initiatives, influencing technical direction while remaining hands-on with design, validation, and system optimization. This position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies, including high-power electronics, FPGA-based control systems, embedded processors, and precision analog circuitry.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing electronic hardware at the board level.
- Expertise in power conversion architectures and power management systems.
- Experience developing high-performance analog and digital electronic solutions.
- Strong understanding of embedded processing platforms and FPGA implementation.
- Experience with the complete PCB development lifecycle, including requirements definition, schematic creation, layout collaboration, manufacturability, and testing.
- Proficiency using circuit modeling and simulation tools to validate and optimize designs.
- Hands-on expertise using laboratory instrumentation for characterization and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
