Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Requirements-based software verification.
Writing test cases and test procedures.
Executing and debugging tests on hardware.
Working closely with onsite teams and offshore engineers.

Must-Have Skills (5+ Years):

DO-178C DAL A or B Requirements-Based Verification.
Low-Level Software Integration & Verification (including Unit Testing).
Embedded C++.

Preferred:

DO-178C DAL A or B Requirements Development.

STEM degree preferred (not mandatory if the candidate has strong relevant experience
