We're Hiring: Software Lead Engineer – Aerospace
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Onsite)
Work Authorization: All Visa Statuses Accepted
Experience Required:
10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
3–6 years of recent Aerospace domain experience.
Strong hands-on experience with DO-178B/C.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
Aerospace Safety-Critical (DAL A) Software Development and Verification & Validation (V&V).
Experience writing High-Level Requirements (HLRs) and Low-Level Requirements (LLRs).
Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++ development.
Hands-on experience with DO-178B/C standards.
Experience with requirement management and configuration management tools such as DOORS, JAMA, Polarion, SVN, or Synergy CM.
Strong debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software bugs and defects.
Ideal Candidate: An experienced Aerospace Software Engineer with strong safety-critical embedded software development experience and a solid understanding of DO-178B/C compliance.
