years of experince : Minimum 3 recent, consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P; Piper aircraft experience preferred; G1000 experience a plus
Certification : A&P license and Inspection Authorization (I.A.) required at hire; High school or equivalent preferred
W2Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of flight school aircraft, per AeroGuard company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.. Must have both A&P and I.A. Available shift: Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts. Duties: reading/understanding technical data (maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, engineering drawings, service bulletins, airworthiness directives); knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91; troubleshoot/repair/inspect/maintain aircraft per FAA regulations; make aircraft logbook entries and release aircraft for return to service; familiar with Microsoft Office, able to learn Talon RMS maintenance program; some medium lifting up to 50 lbs; extensive outdoor/aircraft/equipment exposure, including solvents and aviation gasoline.
