Our work depends on a strong Technical Engineering Lead joining our team to make a positive impact on the client's mission. We are seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer with deep expertise across infrastructure, platforms, and application ecosystems spanning cloud and customer environments, and to serve as a technical authority for complex system issues.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:- Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT-related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience: 15+ years
- Required technical skills:
- Demonstrated experience developing and using data processing technologies such as Python, SPARK, Java, , SQL, ECL, , Jenkins, PyPi, Terraform, Cloudera, Apache NiFi, Apache Hop, and ElasticSearch to perform data processing.
- Demonstrated experience with data analytics tools SPLUNK and ELK.
- Demonstrated experience developing, validating, and using methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Information Technology architectures (i.e., servers, storage, and virtualization).
- Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating the system testing, integration, deployment, installation, validation, troubleshooting and analysis across networks and systems of collection or processing systems equipment.
- Demonstrated experience performing hands-on systems engineering across network, compute, storage, operating systems, middleware, databases, and applications
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting as-is infrastructure, platform, and application architecture
- Demonstrated experience creating detail engineering design for modernization, optimization, and transformation initiatives working with System and Cloud Architect
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing cloud and system implementations, migrations, and upgrades
- Ensure systems meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience integrating infrastructure and platforms with
- DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex, cross-stack issues within the infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders to address and escalate complete system issues
- Demonstrated experience developing technical documentation, diagrams, standards and associated documents
- Ability to brief leadership, translate technical issues into business impact
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: Tyson's, VA (On Customer Site)

The likely salary range for this position is $186,542 - $252,379. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
