Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cryptography Subject Matter Expert for a contract to hire position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity.This role provides subject matter expertise in cryptographic discovery, cryptographic posture management, PKI, certificate management, key management, and post-quantum cryptography initiatives. The selected candidate will support vendor evaluation activities, technical assessments, proof-of-concept execution, integration testing, and implementation planning.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate technical capabilities of vendors responding to the Cryptographic Discovery and Cryptography Posture Management RFP
- Participate in solution scoring and technical due diligence activities
- Design, build, and execute proof-of-concept and pilot environments for shortlisted vendors
- Validate cryptographic discovery coverage across certificates, keys, protocols, PKI infrastructure, and related cryptographic assets
- Test integrations with enterprise data sources and systems of record to validate inventory, ownership attribution, and operational workflows
- Assess solution scalability, coverage, operational fit, and implementation requirements
- Produce technical findings, architecture recommendations, and implementation plans for leadership review
- Support transition from evaluation to deployment planning and production onboarding efforts
