Job Summary

Value Technology is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong AWS and Terraform expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java development, microservices architecture, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Create reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS DevOps tools.
Work closely with DevOps, Architecture, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk, or Prometheus.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in Java application development.
Strong experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- EC2
- S3
- Lambda
- ECS/EKS
- RDS
- API Gateway
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- SNS/SQS
- DynamoDB
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and design patterns.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications (AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and cloud governance.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
